Silxa exhibiting at HFTC 2024

Silixa exhibiting at the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition on 6 — 8 February 2024

See us at the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition at our stand N°316 on 6–8 February 2024 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in The Woodlands, TX, USA.

We will be showcasing our permanent and wireline distributed fiber optic monitoring solutions that provide reliable hydraulic fracture diagnostics enabling operators to optimize their stimulation and completion designs in real-time to maximize efficiency and improve ultimate recovery.

Our DScover™ service, utilizing a permanently deployed fiber optic cable installed external to the completions string measures fluid distribution during frac treatment providing cluster efficiency and mechanical isolation information. We can calibrate these flow algorithms to account for changes in prop concentration or changes in acoustic energy related to leaky plugs and hole size viability resulting in better uniformity analysis.  DScover also provides insight into cement isolation effectiveness and near-wellbore longitudinal fracture creation.

Our Carina® XwellXpress, utilizing the engineered Constellation™ fiber deployed in an offset well, can measure and characterize frac driven interactions in the far-field.  Identifying fracture creation with low-frequency strain data provides information about fracture opening and closure, frac azimuth, frac velocity, frac-hit intensity, frac-hit distribution, and frac-hit corridor (FCH) analysis to understand fracture uniformity versus well spacing.

Utilizing these services offers operators powerful solutions for evaluating and optimizing new well completions and mitigating risk for re-fracs and in-fill drilling programs.

Adding the Carina® 100XLog post frac provides production inflow analysis to better understand cluster efficiencies and frac effectiveness including information on fluid régime and well behavior over time.
