SEG Borehole Geophysics: New Developments for Global Energy

Silixa presenting at the SEG Borehole Geophysics: New Developments for Global Energy Conference on 23–24 April 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Join us at the SEG Borehole Geophysics: New Developments for Global Energy Conference on 23–24 April 2024 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia!

Peter Smith, BDM — Asia Pacific, will be presenting on “Cost-effective Management of Borehole Geophysics Data for Low-Carbon Energy.”

Global low-carbon projects supporting cleaner renewable energy generate large volumes of geophysical data from boreholes. This data requires sustainable and cost-effective data management strategies over long project lifetimes. Silixa’s Edge Data Management Solution reduces data size at the borehole location by performing decimation, resampling, and compression, followed by industry standard geophysical processing techniques. This reduces data streams from 100’s of terabytes to 10’s of megabytes for remote operations, ensuring effective and reliable end-to end data management.
