Following the addition of iDSS, Silixa’s high resolution brillouin static strain distributed sensor to its technology portfolio, Silixa is announcing DScover™, the new well surveillance and optimization service.
With a fiber permanently installed in a well, operators can optimize well placement and completion design by constraining geo-mechanical models more accurately with additional static strain measurements. Understanding the dynamics of a fractured reservoir is a challenge, hence Silixa is providing higher confidence results to give operators greater understanding of reservoir depletion, well interference, fracture geometry and network conductivity.
The new well surveillance and optimization service provides higher confidence results by combining a fully integrated analysis with best-in-class data quality from DAS, DTS and the new DSS measurements.
