Join us at the 6th EAGE Workshop on Fiber Optic Sensing for Energy Applications in Perth, Australia

Join us at the 6th EAGE Workshop on Fiber Optic Sensing for Energy Applications in Perth, Australia, from 21–23 October 2026.

The workshop will focus on recent developments in fibre optic sensing, bringing together current and prospective technology end users, problem owners, and experts in sensor hardware, tools, fibres, cables, interrogators, and applications. Designed for professionals engaged in the Energy Transition, the workshop will welcome participants from the oil and gas, geothermal, CCUS, and related sectors, including geoscientists, geophysicists, reservoir engineers, well completion specialists, data scientists, civil engineers, and marine professionals.

We are proud to contribute to this leading industry event with a one-day short course on Distributed Fibre Optic Sensors and Applications, delivered by Dr Mahmoud Farhadiroushan (Silixa) and Sebastien Soulas (Avalon Sciences) on 20 October.

In addition, Dr Stephen Horne will present “Evaluation of a Distributed Acoustic Sensing Hydrophone System in a Shallow Water Harbour Environment” on 21 October at 13:00 pm. The presentation will showcase the evaluation of a DAS hydrophone system in a shallow-water harbour environment, featuring the analysis of vessel traffic, diver activity, and marine biological signals captured using advanced fibre optic hydrophone technology.

We look forward to meeting industry professionals working across oil and gas, geothermal, CCUS, and energy transition projects.
