Rober Hull joins Silixa

Silixa appoints Robert Hull as a Consulting Senior Geophysical Advisor

Silixa is pleased to appoint Robert Hull as a Consulting Senior Geophysical Advisor. Robert is a geophysical specialist holding over thirty years of experience in the field of microseismic acquisition design and interpretation, fiber optic fracture imaging, and geomechanical modelling.

Rob joins Silixa at an exciting time and will support the further development of Silixa’s industry leading real-time frac visualization service, Carina® XwellXpress™ and  ArrayFrac™, hydraulic fracture monitoring service.

Until recently Robert worked as a Senior Geotechnical Specialist with Pioneer Natural Resources Geophysical Technology Group, managing the microseismic acquisition imaging team where he developed a deep insight into the application of fiber optics in the Permian Basin. During his time at Pioneer he was the recipient of multiple innovation awards for fiber optics and the application of microseismic techniques.

Robert holds a Master of Science in Geosciences and is a member of the SEG and AAPG. He is a well-respected author and presenter of many papers and publications relating to his expert subject matter.
