Silixa exhibiting at CCUS 2025

Silixa to exhibit at the SPE, AAPG, SEG Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Conference & Exhibition 2025

See us at the SPE, AAPG, SEG Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) Conference and Exhibition at our stand N° 1004 on 3–5 March 2025 at the George R. Brown Center in Houston, TX, USA to learn how our distributed sensing-based carbon capture monitoring solution can provide a reliable, continuous or on-demand CCS monitoring solution for all stages of carbon storage operations, both offshore and on land.

Achieving net zero requires the safe and cost-effective implementation of carbon capture and storage technology. Silixa has been providing distributed fiber optic sensing-based monitoring solutions to the energy industry since 2010, demonstrating a strong record of success. Many of the in-well and surface iDAS™, Carina® and DTS applications targeted at the upstream oil and gas industry, such as high-resolution time-lapse 4D seismic and microseismic, are also a natural fit for CCUS monitoring.

Silixa’s CCUS monitoring solution, Carina® CarbonSecure™, was designed to help successfully move towards a carbon-neutral energy future. Case studies show the efficiency and reliability of the system which delivers scalable monitoring capabilities while allowing for regulatory compliance over the various stages of project development.

Attendees of the conference will also have a chance to see a live DAS demo featuring our real-time data processing and analysis capabilities.

Acoustic data, acquired with iDAS/Carina, is streamed to a computer where a microseismic detection algorithm filters, conditions and compresses the acoustic data, making it possible to transmit only relevant data to a remote data repository. This allows for a much leaner and more cost-effective use of DAS with remote operations.
