Silixa to attend the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition on 4–6 February 2025

Better data means better decisions!

Connect with us at the SPE Hydraulic Fracturing Technology Conference and Exhibition on 4–6 February 2025 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in The Woodlands, TX, USA, to learn more about our distributed fiber optic monitoring solutions that provide reliable hydraulic fracture diagnostics, enabling operators to improve their stimulation and completion designs in real-time to maximize efficiency and improve ultimate recovery.

Our ArrayFrac™ service, utilizing a permanently deployed fiber optic cable installed external to the completions string, measures fluid distribution during frac treatment providing cluster efficiency and mechanical isolation information. These flow algorithms can be calibrated to account for changes in prop concentration or changes in acoustic energy related to leaky plugs and hole size viability resulting in better uniformity analysis. ArrayFrac also provides insight into cement isolation effectiveness and near-wellbore longitudinal fracture creation.

Our Carina® XwellXpress, utilizing the engineered Constellation™ fiber deployed in an offset well, can measure and characterize frac driven interactions in the far-field. Identifying fracture creation with low-frequency strain data provides information about fracture opening and closure, frac azimuth, frac velocity, frac-hit intensity, frac-hit distribution and frac-hit corridor (FCH) analysis to understand fracture uniformity versus well spacing.

Utilizing both ArrayFrac and Carina® XwellXpress offers operators powerful solutions for optimizing new well completions and mitigating risk for re-fracs and in-fill drilling programs. Adding the Carina® 100XLog post frac provides production inflow analysis to better understand cluster efficiencies and frac effectives including information on fluid régime and behavior over time.
